Help Me, Internet, You're My Only Hope

Well, I've started and stopped a number of posts here that have been kind of rambling and ambivalent. I don't want to treat this blog just as a space I have to fill, nor do ultimately want it to be just me yelling soliloquies out into the void. So, to those of you who come here, what would you like me to talk about? What would make this a useful space for those of you who read here?

  1. Okay.

    1) Anecdotes about your stories: how you came to them, what drove you to write what you did, how you spun a story in mid-stream into something else. It's okay to talk about yourself a little, or even a lot.

    2) Thought processes about writing. How do you plot? Do you mentally build a picture of your characters? What helps you write? It might help someone else.

    3) Adventures in publishing: what you learned, who gave you good advice. Again, never know who might glean something.

    4) Commentary on the state of the industry.

    5) More soliloquies into the void.

    6) Naked jello-wrestling pictures.

Short of #6, you've done all these. It's fine. I think you are doing well, I find your blog pretty useful and thought-inspiring.

The real question is: what do *you* want to do with it?
